I’m excited to officially announce my upcoming dark fiction story, Struck.
The story follows Marshall James Thornhill, an officer pulled into a case that slowly begins dismantling his understanding of reality itself. As the investigation deepens, Thornhill realizes something may have attached itself to him—something invasive, manipulative, and impossible to fully comprehend.
With Struck, I wanted to lean heavily into psychological deterioration, supernatural influence, and the fear of questioning your own perception. Some horror comes from monsters. Some comes from realizing your own mind may no longer be trustworthy.
This is one of the most psychologically driven stories I’ve worked on so far, and I’m excited to share more about it soon.
