Memorial Day is a time for remembrance.
It is a day to reflect on sacrifice, service, and the individuals who gave their lives in military duty. These are not abstract ideas—they are real people, real families, and real stories that ended far too soon.
As a writer, stories are often about conflict, survival, and consequence. But Memorial Day is a reminder that some stories in real life do not get a resolution—they are remembered instead of concluded.
Today, we honor those who served and those who never returned home. Their sacrifice remains part of the foundation of the world we live in.
