As a writer, that idea is deeply familiar. Stories often begin in endings—after loss, after conflict, after something has already broken. And yet, within that space, something new is always forming. A character changes. A truth is revealed. A path opens where none seemed to exist before.

That cycle is part of what makes storytelling so powerful.

As a writer, deception is often a tool used carefully in fiction. A good twist doesn’t just surprise—it recontextualizes everything that came before it. But like today itself, it only works when used with intention and respect for the audience.
