I’m excited to officially announce my upcoming short story, The Hole, releasing May 24.
The story follows Faye Harper and her family during what was supposed to be a peaceful camping trip. But after discovering a massive and seemingly endless hole deep in the wilderness, the family begins experiencing strange distortions in reality, growing paranoia, and the terrifying feeling that something beneath them is aware of their presence.
With The Hole, I wanted to focus heavily on atmosphere, psychological tension, and the fear of encountering something impossible to fully explain. Some horrors are terrifying because of what they are. Others are terrifying because we never truly understand them.
