Happy Star Wars Day.
Few modern franchises have influenced storytelling as much as Star Wars. It helped define what a cinematic universe could be, blending mythology, science fiction, and character-driven storytelling into something that resonates across generations.
At its core, it’s a story about choices—between light and darkness, loyalty and betrayal, hope and fear. Those themes are universal, and they show up again and again in all forms of fiction.
As a writer, it’s hard not to recognize how deeply Star Wars has shaped modern storytelling structure, pacing, and worldbuilding across books, film, and games.
