Happy Presidents’ Day.
Presidents’ Day often brings attention to leadership and legacy—how decisions made in positions of authority can shape history far beyond a single moment in time. It is also a reminder that leadership is rarely simple. It involves pressure, contradiction, and consequences that are not always visible in the moment.
In storytelling, leadership is a recurring theme. Characters in positions of authority are often tested not by power itself, but by the weight of responsibility and the outcomes of their decisions. That tension is what makes many political, historical, and even fictional narratives compelling.
As a writer, I find those dynamics especially interesting—the gap between intention and impact, and how history judges both.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support my writing and creative work.
Have a safe and thoughtful Presidents’ Day.
